Prayer Requests

Please join with us to pray for the following:

1. Please pray for the Terai area. There is great unrest and much violence. Several months ago, there was a pipe bomb placed at one of the children’s homes, which injured a child, causing him to have to have surgery. The bomb was set by a Hindu extremist group. Since that time, there have been other threats. The children are very frightened, as are some of the staff.

2. Please pray for a new children’s home that has been started in Nepal. The couple is focusing on AIDS/HIV-affected children. They need funds for monthly rent ($200/month) and also for beds, cookware, and other essentials.

"He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing." --Deuteronomy 10:18

3. Please pray for peace in Nepal.

"If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place." --II Chronicles 7:14
